Welcome

The Balwyn High School Centre for Professional Learning is dedicated to meeting the needs of educators and school leaders with a passion for professional learning. Teaching is complex and demanding work that requires highly specialized skills and knowledge to significantly impact student learning. Transformational leadership is needed to create the culture and conditions that support teacher and student learning.

The program is designed to respond to the need to equip teachers and leaders with new knowledge about learning, teaching, leadership and technologies.

The BHS Centre for Professional Learning will provide workshops and networking with other educators to engage with professionals who are leaders in their fields and whose practices model an understanding of adult learning and pedagogy.
