Student Representative Council
Students are elected to the SRC from the student body. The SRC aims include fundraising, responding to student requests and having input into school decision-making and activities. A member of staff is responsible for the overall coordination of the Council. Liria Stratus has held this position for a number of years.

S.R.C Badges
The SRC consists of school captains, 2 vice captains of the school, 6 elected representatives from Year 12 (SRC Executive), and 4 elected representatives from Years 7-11. Two of the representatives from Year 12 will be elected President and Vice President. Students from the student body may apply for cooption and 4 students from Years 8-11 are appointed by the SRC Executive to complete the membership of the Council.
Responsibilities Of A Student Representative Councillor
A Student Representative Councillor holds a position of esteem and importance in the school. This honour is deserved by those students who demonstrate reliability, who are caring for others, and who are prepared to accept a responsibility on behalf of other students.
Elected SRC members take up a number of roles, including:
- representing their year levels on Student Representative Council which may involve seeking information at level or form assemblies and reporting back to those assemblies
- assisting with, and participating in, the conduct of Student Representative Council activities
- showing leadership by encouraging student participation in school and Student Representative Council activities
- representing the students of the school when requested by the Student Representative Council initiating debate in, and implementing decisions of, the Student Council
It is expected that elected SRC members attend all meetings and participate fully in the range of activities throughout the year.
