Police Criminal Records Check
- The School requires all persons being appointed to a position provide a satisfactory Police Record Check as a precondition to employment. The check will form part of a Victorian Institute of Teaching membership application for persons who have not previously been employed as a teacher
- The Human Resources Manager is responsible to assess record check documentation
- A current check is defined as one that has been conducted since November 2006
- Staff are requested to complete a Statutory Declaration in relation to their Police Record pending the outcome of the Police Criminal Record Check
Working With Children Check
- The School also requires all non teaching staff to have a valid Working with Children check
- A current check is defined as one that has been conducted since November 2004
