School Procedures

SunSmart Policy

Balwyn High School is a registered SunSmart school. This means that between the start of November and the end of March, whenever Years 7-10 students are outside on a compulsory school activity, they must wear a cap. Students must bring their school cap on all physical education and sport days, and when participating on excursions and camps.

Normal uniform transgression penalties apply to students who breach this part of the uniform code. School caps may be purchased from the General Office.

For their protection, students are advised to wear their school cap home from school between the start of November and the end of March.
